Business Control Officer
(32-40 hours per week, 0.8-1.0 FTE)
Purpose of the position
The Business Control Officer serves our country teams, regional teams and support teams and is the right-hand of the Finance & Control Manager. In this role you use your analytical skills, your solution focus and experience to develop recommendations, and you support the organization with planning, budgeting and reporting. You complete regular analyses, you monitor overall organizational performance and transform data into information. Together with a team, you are responsible for the international data processing in our ERP application. You are eager to streamline processes that improve the effectiveness and efficiency in our organization. The Business Control Officer is part of the Finance & Control team, needs to be able to work independently and reports directly to the Finance & Control Manager.

Analytical: Breaks down tasks and problems into manageable components. Thinks about all the factors that might affect a situation.
Accurate: Works very carefully, precisely and in detail and is focussed on avoiding errors.
- Level of education: Bachelor level of working and thinking;
- Significant demonstrable work experience in business control roles;
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and narrative, ERP and financial reporting;
- Fluency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of the Arabic language and culture is a big plus;
- A heart for the persecuted Church.
Travelling: This position requires the ability and willingness to travel internationally.
